We created custom candles so that we can have a sensory reminder of the places that are meaningful to our brand. When we light one of our four candles we are instantly transported to the place that inspired that candle. Our candles are made in America. Each candle is 6.5 ounces of vegan soy wax and essential oils. The candles are all hand-poured and hand-labeled. You should expect 45-60 hours of burn time. The metal tins and metal lid make this an ideal travel candle to make your hotel room feel more like home (whenever we can travel again).
Istanbul Candle
Our Istanbul candle is inspired by the unique East-meets-West city that straddles two continents. We always enjoy a glass of fresh-squeezed pomegranate juice while inhaling a breeze that carries a melange of spice notes from the Spice Bazaar.
Marrakech Candle
The inspiration for our Marrakech candle comes from the orange trees that are ubiquitous along sidewalks and streets of Marrakech, combined with the smells that permeate Jemaa el-Fna square, which for over a thousand years has served as a gathering place and market at the heart of Marrakesh. Fortune tellers, snake charmers, poets, and storytellers come to entertain the crowds, and merchants sell orange juice, spices, traditional medicines, mint leaves, and snails, helping to create an intoxicating atmosphere whose cultural importance earned UNESCO World Heritage site recognition.
Aspen Candle
The inspiration for the Aspen candle comes from the unique Rocky Mountain setting. The elevation keeps the air dry and cool, yet when it rains the air is filled with a complex mix of pines, aspens, and the delicious-smelling aroma from flowers. The savory notes sage and thyme are an homage to Aspen's famous food and wine festival.
Nantucket Candle
Our Nantucket candle is inspired by the remote setting, foggy perfection thirty miles off the coast. The beachy-clean scent carries the aroma of Nantucket's flower-filled summers, while the ambergris (an earthy-smelling substance found in sperm whales) pays homage to Nantucket's rich whaling history.
