This western shirt is made by hand from premium Oxford cloth at our atelier in Marrakech.
Japanese Oxford cloth Western shirts blend Western style with Japanese craftsmanship. Oxford cloth, a durable fabric originally from Scotland, became popular in Japan during the Meiji Restoration as Western fashion spread. After World War II, Japan began producing high-quality versions of Western shirts, traditionally associated with American cowboy culture, using their refined Oxford cloth. This fusion resulted in unique shirts that combine the rugged Americana aesthetic with Japan's meticulous attention to detail. Today, these shirts are celebrated for their comfort, durability, and timeless appeal in both Japanese and global fashion.
